Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again found himself at the center of controversy after a video surfaced showing him turning himself in to the police.
On February 17, 2025, the Ogun State Police Command declared Portable wanted over an alleged assault on government officials. The incident reportedly occurred on February 5, 2025, during an enforcement operation by officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.
According to reports, Portable and his associates allegedly attacked the officials, leaving some injured. While nine of his accomplices were arrested, the singer managed to evade capture. Despite multiple summonses, he failed to appear before the authorities, prompting the police to obtain a court order declaring him wanted.
On February 19, 2025, Portable surrendered to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba, Lagos. He was subsequently transferred to the Ogun State Police Command for further investigation. The police have assured the public that due process will be followed in handling the matter.

Portable, dressed in a blue two-pieces clothes, was seen accompanined by some police officers as they walked into the police station.
